Surviving are one son, Edward; one daughter, Mrs. Florence Ackerman, Rockford; three grandchildren, Edward Stegmiller, Jr., with the armed forces in Germany, Marvin Ackerman of Rockford and Mrs. Edward Hensley of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
